COURSE DESCRIPTION:  Jeff Sailor’s 2022 Accounting and Auditing Update and Review Course (Group-Live, 8 CPE Credits) is designed to provide an in-depth look into the most important new pronouncements issued during the past year, along with an overview of the less pervasive ones.

2022 A&A COURSE TOPICS:

ACCOUNTING UPDATE – This segment will look at the latest updates to the FASB Codification, including not-for-profit accounting changes, examples for accounting for leases, credit losses, and other FASB updates.

AUDIT UPDATE – This segment covers the requirements for documenting audit evidence and auditing accounting estimates. A major topic will be the totally updated requirements for risk assessment. It will also cover the new requirements for Agreed-Upon Procedures engagements under SSAE 19.

SSARS UPDATE – This segment will cover the new requirements under SSARS 25, which make major changes to review engagements as well as changes for preparations and compilations as well.

QUALITY STANDARDS – This segment will cover the new requirements under the brand new Statements on Quality Management Services. These standards will require drastic changes to anyone in public practice.
